Digital screens of the future: Touch Taiwan 2021 in pictures
A visual tour of the materials innovations going into your next device
What will you make with Hyaline Z2? Here’s one possibility we explore in our Hyaline video, which premiered at Touch Taiwan 2021, the world’s leading digital display conference.
Last month, Hyaline Z2 made its world debut at Touch Taiwan, the world’s leading display exhibition. Zymergen and other industry leaders provided a glimpse at the technologies that may soon find their way into our lives as the next-generation displays that go into our phones, tablets, TVs, and other high-tech devices. Here, we share the experience in video and in pictures.

Hyaline Z2 film is inspired by a unique combination of properties found in nature, including high transmittance, low color, low haze, and low birefringence. The result: Hyaline Z2 offers the possibility of brighter, clearer displays with longer battery life.
Zymergen is expanding its global footprint by growing our team of electronics leaders in APAC and Europe. We have added electronics and chemical industry veterans to our team in pursuit of our goal to become a key supplier in major Asian markets.
We visited with many of the digital display industry’s leading innovators and manufacturers over the three days of Touch Taiwan.
